DEUTSCH USAGE SPECIFICATION 

In order to get its full performances, pay attention to the following problems:

1. Use matching wires and insulation rings to ensure the connector is completely waterproof. Do not insert bare wire or heat shrink sleeve right into the wire through hole of the seal ring. Because water can invade the connector along the exposed wire.

2. The part of a wire that leads from the connector, such as excessive bending, will make the ring through the hole into an oval, thus water can easily come inside. So bend the lead wire 3 inches from the connector to make sure the connector is completely waterproof.

3. If the wire leading from the connector is too close to the back end of the connector when strapping the wiring harness, which will make the wire and connector form a bevel, causing deformation of the sealing ring through the hole  and thus water can easily come inside. So keep the strapping position is bent 3 inches away from the connector to ensure that the connector is completely waterproof.

4. Ensure the connectors are connected horizontally, which can help water flow away easily to improve the waterproof performance.

5. When design and use of the connection, position that without electrode used  should be distributed in the periphery, not only for keeping the tight force of the sealing ring to the electrode wire in the middle, but also make the terminal inserted into the assembly is not too tight.

6. DEUTSCH connectors,  the connection between the terminal and the wire is designed to be combined by pressing, no need to use welding method.

7. When attaching the wires to a structure, pls also attach the connectors together. To relieve tension on wires and connectors when the current system is under load.
